Lidl GB would like to build a new Lidl foodstore and homes for Eltham Hill and the surrounding areas.

When Mecca Bingo’s lease concludes, Lidl GB would like to replace the existing building at Eltham Hill with a mixed-use development, including a new discount foodstore, community space and a range of new homes with private green spaces.

This new store would be in addition to our existing store on Eltham High Street.

Ahead of submitting a planning application, we would like to know what the local community thinks of the proposals.

We would like to invite you to our consultation event on Wednesday 5th November 2025 – 3pm-6:30pm at St Mary’s Eltham Community Centre, 180 Eltham High Street, Eltham, SE9 1BJ.

The website will be updated with the proposals on the 5th November 2025.
