New homes

21 apartments including 1, 2 and 3 beds would be located on the floors above the Lidl store, with balconies and private amenity spaces throughout. An external landscaped amenity space is included on the second floor and would be for residents to enjoy.

7 townhouses would be located in space behind the main building. The townhouses would include private gardens and nearby access to open green space and a children’s play area.

A new community space

The development offers opportunity to provide a fully accessible community space within the main site entrance.
This space is designed to be flexible and could have many uses including as a meeting room, a place for groups or clubs to meet, or as a space to hire for events. We are keen to gather feedback to inform how this space can be best utilised, so please share any ideas or thoughts.

The proposals include a range of private and public amenity spaces, including:

Within the apartment building, private balconies and terraces are proposed for several apartments across the building.
The second floor includes an open green amenity space for residents to enjoy, with seating areas and a grass play area for children.
The townhouses include private gardens and trees, and soft landscaping throughout the development.
An open green space for residents with trees and hedges.
A further enclosed children’s play area.
